DPS Megacity, Kolkata has successfully completed 16 years as an established institution. Our endeavour has been to create not only a school which deals with academics but a holistic seat of learning where every student is groomed to be a responsible and a creative individual. I am proud to declare that all my staff members and other members of the management body have worked hand in hand to reach the level of success we have achieved today. We are proud to start Sister School at Barasat for our students as there is an overwhelming demand.
I look forward to many more years of such glory and convey my thanks to one and all who have been supportive in my endeavour for the betterment of DPS Megacity, Barasat.
Pro Vice Chairman
A post-graduate in Finance, he is the Pro-Vice Chairman of Delhi Public School, Panvel, Navi Mumbai and Chairman of Credo World School Dahanu. He is also on the Board of Trust of Delhi Public School, Megacity, Kolkata and Delhi Public School, Howrah and works closely with charitable organizations that work towards the upliftment of education for the poor strata of the society. MBA graduate from MDI (Gurgaon) and European School of Management (London). Worked as a Business Analyst with FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange) London and with Mzaya India for 3 years in Mumbai. Implemented Risk modules for banks and also conducted Advanced Data Analytics for leading Mutual fund house such as Reliance and ICICI.

Binay K Agarwal. A Fellow Chartered Accountant by qualification and share broker by profession, holds a Diploma in Business Finance & pursued Senior Management Program from IIM Calcutta.
He heads a share & commodity broking house by the name of Fast Capital Markets Ltd. He has been on the board of the Calcutta Stock Exchange and various listed companies and educational trusts.
He carries with himself a 30-year experience in Investment advisory & Capital Markets. He has been a guest lecturer at IIM Calcutta.
He is an ardent believer of the fact that an investment in knowledge pays the best interest! Education is the only tool that can cause our country to benefit from the demographic dividends of our young population. The Barasat Hinterland will surely benefit from DPS Barasat.

The age old tradition of education has taken a quantum leap with technology which when constructively handled has proved to be an amazing aid during these trying times.
The vision of spreading the joy of learning to one and all was initiated by the blessings of my late grandfather Mr. K.D. Saraf in the year 2007. Since then his philosophy and mission has been inspiring me immensely.
Following his footsteps, I would like to quote Abraham Lincoln's words here -- " I do the very best I know how, the very best I can and I mean to keep on doing so until the end!"
Our entire team at DPS, Barasat is dedicated towards achieving excellence in our chosen field and am confident that the perennial support from all our well wishers will help us to reach greater heights.

The above words have always found resonance in my soul, as an educator, administrator, and moreover as a human being.
In my 33 years of association with teaching and administration, 25 years with the DPS Society, and my tenure as the Founder DPS Principal of Kolkata, West Bengal, I have always found education to be an elixir.
My experience as an ex-member of the Planning Commission for Education (appointed by HRDC) will help me guide DPS Barasat in its stages of infancy and empower it towards a strong future.
I have been honoured and recognized by the ABP group with the prestigious DRONACHARYA AWARD - BEST INSPIRING PRINCIPAL, by FICCI with the APARAJITA: ART OF EXCELLENCE in the “YOUNG ACHIEVERS CATEGORY”, by British Council as an AMBASSADOR and also by ASSET, UIEO, SOF and NSTSE.
I have been privileged to work with the management of DPS Megacity, led by the dynamic and enterprising Shri Vijay Agarwal and earnestly look forward to guide DPS Barasat with all my acquired wealth of experience, wisdom and humility.
It will indeed be an invigorating challenge to bring up DPS Barasat and establish it as an educational institute of true class and quality. It is my resolve to be with the school in its formative years, with my utmost capability, care and concern.

History of mankind has progressed in the right path because
education held the hand of men at all times. Times have evolved
and the human race has seen better days in terms of development
with the passage of time. Great thinkers, philosophers and leaders
have always been guided by the winds of wisdom . The universe
will only get better as more and more people get educated and
accomplished.
Delhi Public School , Barasat has been very instrumental in bringing
in the much required changes in an ever changing world. It has
rightfully entwined the basics of each concept with technology and
has built an atmosphere of progressive learning in a competitive
world. DPSB believes in bringing out the best in each pupil so that
they continue to shine on and can contribute effectively to a
progressive nation.
The students, the faculty and the support staff of this institution
have an unwritten pledge to walk steadily together and to take this
school to great heights. The blend of traditional and new forms of
teaching learning process will ensure that DPS Barasat will see itself
in an iconic position in the map of world education.
I take this opportunity to thank each one who has entrusted us
with their faith and have showered confidence on us in our noble
mission. I pray to the Almighty that each one associated with DPSB
